Albany Democrat Dan Cerutti recently sat down for an hour-long, Albany-oriented conversation with Talk1300 radio’s Paul Vandenburgh.
During their discussion, Cerutti revealed that during the COVID shutdown he frequently exercised by traversing the city on foot – and from that street level he could see Albany was struggling – and in need of new leadership, fresh ideas, and a commitment to change.
Over a period of months and after talking with hundreds of people – Dan concluded that he could best serve his hometown by pursuing the democratic party nomination for Mayor.
You can listen to an abbreviated (*) version of the interview here during which Dan share’s his vision for Albany’s future, including his top priority to make our streets safe.
In the wide-ranging interview, he also discusses a summer job with the state while in college, and a business career with IBM that resulted in multiple moves to various cities before returning home to Albany nearly 10 years ago.
