With the democratic primary election less than six months away, Albany business executive and democratic candidate for mayor Dan Cerutti has stepped up his campaign and continues to take his message of change directly to Albany residents.
He has assembled his campaign infrastructure and is sharing a three-point plan for Albany’s future. “My top priorities are safe streets, economic growth and building trust and confidence in the city of Albany,” Cerutti said.
The first-time candidate for public office grew up in the Pine Hills neighborhood and returned to Albany nine years ago, following a career leading efforts to solve challenging problems across a variety of industries. For the past twenty-four months, he has been asking questions and listening to city residents about their concerns.
“I will establish a Culture of Service and a Can-Do attitude – rather than an Administration of Regulation, Cerutti continued, “Albany is my hometown. I believe in our city, and I believe we can do better, for everyone, if we respect and serve the community like a valued customer.”
Several months ago, Cerutti provided a glimpse into his campaign by releasing a series of videos on the campaign’s website at www.DanForAlbany.com. The campaign also launched a dedicated Facebook Page at https://www.facebook.com/DanForAlbany.
“The democratic primary is in June, and I am going to work hard every day to bring optimism, opportunity and change to our city. That is what our campaign is about. The support and enthusiasm we have received is energizing and it’s growing,” Cerutti concluded.
Cerutti’s campaign recently introduced direct mail to complement its in-person and social media outreach.
