Albany business executive and democratic candidate for mayor Dan Cerutti today called Governor Hochul’s announcement of a partnership with the Center for Economic Growth focusing on a new workforce development project key to revitalizing and repurposing the assets and resources recently acquired by the Pine Hills Land Authority.
“The Pine Hills neighborhood was where I grew up,” said Cerruti. “There are desirable and attractive opportunities for economic growth, owner-occupied housing, recreation, and job training.”
Cerutti has repeatedly shared his thoughts and ideas about the about potential uses and repurposing opportunities for the St. Rose Campus and fostering economic growth in Albany, including the possibility of creating a training center (See comments at :32 seconds).
Earlier this week, the campaign has also released a brief video commentary featuring Dan’s opinion on Governor Hochul’s revitalization and investment in Albany.
